On February 14th, the Middle Georgia Military Affairs Committee (MGMAC) gathered to welcome the 2017 MGMAC Chair, Randall Walker of the Perry Chamber of Commerce. Pictured above, Col. Established in the 1980s, MGMAC works to enhance community relationships with civilian and military Airmen of Robins Air Force Base (RAFB). MGMAC is a partnership of Military Affairs Committees from area chambers in the region including Warner Robins, Macon, Perry, Peach County, Hawkinsville, Dublin-Laurens, Cochran-Bleckley and Eastman-Dodge. MGMAC’s purpose is to support programs and events for active duty, civilian, retired, and separated service members in the Middle Georgia community. In partnership with MGMAC, the Robins Regional Military Affairs Committee supports projects designed to enhance moral in the military community such as Single & Unaccompanied Airman Dinners, outings for families of deployed service members, RAFB Tours, Leadership Robins Region scholarship, and more.
