The 2017 LRR Class has elected to partner with the Houston County Association for Exceptional Citizens (Happy Hour) on a project focused on renovating five life skills workshops. Happy Hour is an organization that provides vocational rehabilitation, community employment opportunities, and training to developmentally disabled adults in the areas of personal care, safety, daily living techniques, work adjustment, and social skills. Happy Hour has been a full-service resource to Houston County and the greater Middle Georgia region since 1956. Clients of Happy Hour play an active role in the life of Houston County through recycling programs, cleaning services, postal services, and various community endeavors.

- Stock and refurbish laundry room – Completed!
- Procure and install computer lab – Completed!
- Provide and update educational life skills tools – Completed!
